Landmark Forum For Executives in Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Transforming wishful thinking into action in Dubai:
the world’s hottest spot for transformation!

Manish Gvalani

As I wrote this in late 2007 I am present to how things have changed in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, the place I called home. In our community of Landmark Forum graduates, we used to get to all dream-like and talked a lot about how great it could be - if only Landmark Education had an office in Dubai.

We joked about of how easy things could be for us if we could just walk in a building somewhere in our hometown and attend a seminar or a course from Landmark Education. Instead, we had to plan for vacation time, book a flight, and travel out of the country to do any Landmark courses and programs!

But for the last several months we have not been doing the usual wishful thinking. We have been at work to bring our dream into reality. On February 29, 2008, Landmark Forum leader Jerome Downes will come to Dubai to lead the first ever course from Landmark Education in the region.

Before this historical event was a possibility - I had to make the choice: either to keep hoping that someday Landmark Education would come and make transformation available in Dubai. So that we have its tremendous benefits available to myself and to the people that I live and talk with every day - or make the request to Landmark Education. I chose the latter, and that choice comes the responsibility of being cause in the matter to have myself trained to get the job done.

I have not been the same since I made that request. I have to give up all my excuses that I am not good enough for the task at hand. I had to confront many moments when things did not go the way I wanted it. But with all of that said, it is also true that I have never imagined that my life ever since can be so great! I truly appreciate Landmark Education and Jerome Downes and Ramesh Ramachandra and their team. It has been unbelievable training and it works!

I am a witness on daily basis as how the methodology of Landmark Education is transforming our small community of graduates, complaints got resolved faster, great personal results appears from no where on consistent basis, people just get better and better. And as a community, we are present that we are building a future that deeply matters to each and all of us.

Before I did the Landmark Forum there was a seemingly unrelated time of my past life when I hated everything. My family had incurred a substantial amount of debts. They had sold off all jewelry, liquidated all deposits in the bank and sold off the car. We were literally bankrupt.

Everyday, there would be a creditor knocking on the door to recover his debt. Or every second call would be someone threatening us for their money. Every doorbell or cell ring would scare me and I would shiver at the thought of dealing with whoever is at the door or the phone. I hated this and hence would leave the house at 8.00 in the morning and only return at 10.00 pm, leaving my parents to deal with this problem.

And then I did the Landmark Forum in Sept 2003. I clearly saw that I had been such a selfish man. I was blaming my parents for everything but never even acknowledged them once for bringing me to life. Never thanked them for staying around and taking care of us in spite of our financial crisis.

In the Landmark Forum I gave up being a coward and found the courage to tell the truth that this was my life. And I would take it back. A few days after the Landmark Forum, I requested all my creditors to avoid any conversations with my parents regarding the debts. I negotiated with them to give me time to sort the situation. For the first time, I was self expressed and talking like a responsible man who loved his family and would do all it takes to bring back peace.

As I wrote this, the debts were all paid back long ago. I have the good fortune to get more benefits from many other courses and programs from Landmark Education. I am gainfully employed with a great international banking institution and have just passed my MBA. I wondered, if I did not do the Landmark Forum how awful life would be today.

I ask you to think of how many people you know who has to put up with their circumstances instead of having the tool from Landmark Education to transform their lives. I ask you to partner with me to share about the Landmark Forum for Executives in Dubai.

Please create your participation as an - opportunity of a life time - to give this extraordinary gift to the people who are the movers and shakers of our worlds. As our Self Expression to create a new world that matters, from the hottest spot of the world, United Arab Emirates, to all regions: possibility created, possibility fulfilled.

If I were to wish for anything, I should not wish for wealth and power, but for a passionate sense of what might be, for the eye, which ever young and ardent sees the possible.
