Jerome Downes
I want to let the graduates know, especially our graduates who have family and friends in Asia, of my 2003 Vision for Landmark Education in Asia, as the Executive of Asia, as the Center's Division Director of Japan and Asia, as the Tokyo Center Manager and as a Senior Landmark Forum Leader.
I am committed to expanding the geographical locations where Landmark Education is providing its unique technology and education.
There are now two Landmark Centers in Asia, both located in Japan, in the cities of Tokyo and Osaka. Up until now, I consider Japan as the mother Center where all the expansion into the rest of Asia will stem from. The resources, the know how, the training and development of the management and leadership are sourced by the staffs, Seminar Leaders and the graduate's strength for making Transformation available in Japan.
Both Tokyo and Osaka are doing very well this year and we are being very successful. We have just finished training our first Japanese speaking Landmark Forum Leader,
Yamada san. Also, there are two other Landmark Forum Leader Candidates designated in July 2002, Arakaki san and
Ueno san. This creates the leaders and leadership for the future of Japan. There are plans to open a third Center in Nagoya, which is the second largest city in Japan. This will bring Japan with having three Landmark Centers.
There is one location outside of Japan where we do the Landmark Forum, in Manila, Philippines. This year, 2002, we have successfully established delivering regularly the Landmark Forum in Manila, which is a great accomplishment. In 2003 we will continue to do the Landmark Forum in Manila, increasing its availability plus making the Advanced Course available.
In 2003, I am committed to having four additional locations in Asia for the Landmark Forum where we have the potential to open up a Landmark Center in the future to provide all our programs and opportunities.
In two of these four new locations, the Landmark Forum has already been scheduled, one in Bangkok, Thailand and the other in Hong Kong, China. Both courses are scheduled to take place in 2003, in February and March.
At the end of 2003, I am committed that Landmark Education is providing its programs, fundamentally The Landmark Forum, in the following cities in Asia.
Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya, Kyushu-Japan
Manila, Philippines
Hong Kong, China
Bangkok, Thailand
In addition, there are two other possible new locations, which have not been decided upon yet. The candidates are Seoul-Korea, Shanghai-China, Kuala Lumpur-Malaysia, and Singapore.
Based on our graduates' stand for the Landmark Forum, and their willingness to provide the necessary enrollment and registration conversations in these geographical locations, these and possibly more cities will start having the Landmark Forum in 2003.
Where I am standing in doing what I do is to provide the leadership and management to recreate the fulfilling of the organizing principle of Landmark Education:
"A world class, mega organization built to last, that makes an important and positive difference in society." My stand is that Asia is
Landmark Education's biggest opportunity.
